A manufacturer of Front End Loaders uses stack valves to control the system’s four functions. Users complained of load droop and a lack of smoothness in controlling the load. The load droop was critical because of the additional time required to complete a job.

After reviewing the system schematic, a Hidroirma stack valve was selected. A no-cost prototype installation was made on the customer’s fork lift, to field evaluate the effectiveness of the selected stack valve.

The test of the stack valve was successful. A loaded fork lift bucket drooped only a negligible amount overnight, verifying minimal valve leakage. Also, when the load was manipulated, the motion was smooth, free of jerky movements.
